A Conservative-Egalitarian Synagogue

Ner Tamid means “Eternal Light or Flame”

This has served as our beacon for over 20 years. Through a succession of temporary locations, we worshipped together each Shabbat (and during the holidays.) Today we are proud that we have our permanent home in Cherry Hill, and we welcome all to join with us.

Ner Tamid is a vibrant and compassionate congregation in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, committed to the egalitarian observance and strengthening of Conservative Judaism’s traditions, worship, values and spirituality.

To accomplish these objectives while fostering the personal and spiritual growth of our congregants and visitors, we offer a myriad of religious, educational, cultural and social programs open to all generations, denominations, affiliations and backgrounds within the Jewish population.
